Robert Kaplan and wife Esther, Stoughton, Mass., recently celebrated their 42nd anniversary. Kaplan is president of Solex Payroll Systems Inc.

1972
Douglas Boettner, Albany, N.Y., has been named president of the government procurement consulting firm Boettner & Associates.

1976
Ralph Valentine, Windham, N.H., is principal of the Valentine Group, which provides acquisition, valuation, management and other real estate services for commercial clients. Most recently, Valentine represented the owner of a building in a lease agreement with Total Air Supply.

1978
Jay Toporoff, Towaco, N.J., has finished his 10th year as a director for America’s Camp, a free summer camp program for children who lost a parent or sibling on 9/11. The alumnus has many years’ experience working with children and young adults, most recently as an owner and co-director of the western Mass.-based Camp Danbee.

1980
The Technion–Israel Institute of Technology has awarded an honorary fellowship to Sidney C. Lejfer MST ’87, Newton, Mass., who serves as board chairman of the school’s affiliated American Technion Society. Lejfer is co-founder and chief executive officer of Harvest Solutions, a customer relationship management consulting and training firm.

Katz Nannis + Solomon P.C. , a Needham, Mass., accounting firm, has announced a change in firm ownership structure with Allen Katz, Jeff Solomon and Lawrence Nannis MST '84, Framingham, Mass., as shareholders.

Mark Ahern, Bronxville, N.Y., has accepted the position of executive direction, investor relations, at Indus Capital Partners.

Katz Nannis + Solomon P.C. , a Needham, Mass., accounting firm, has announced a change in firm ownership structure. Its shareholders are Allen Katz, Jeff Solomon and Lawrence Nannis 'MST, BS '81, Framingham, Mass.

1986
New England Women in Real Estate (NEWiRE), a leading resource for women in commercial real estate, has tapped Janet Pirrello, Saugus, Mass., to be president of its Board of Directors for 2011-2012. The alumna is employed at BayNorth Capital.

Pamela Therios-Kondylis, Winchester, Mass., has been appointed to the ALS Association Board of Directors for the Norwood, Mass., chapter. She has been an ALS Advocate since 2007.

Sidney C. Lejfer ’MST, BS ’80, Newton, Mass., has received an honorary fellowship from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. He is board chairman for the school’s affiliated American Technion Society as well as co-founder and CEO of Harvest Solutions, a customer relationship management consulting and training firm.

New England Women in Real Estate (NEWiRE) has named Holly Nelson ’MBA, Quincy, Mass., as president-elect for the organization’s Board of Directors; her term begins in 2013.

Lexington, Mass.-based 1366 Technologies has welcomed Daniel Matloff, Auburndale, Mass., to the post of chief financial officer. Matloff’s responsibilities include building the firm’s financial strategy as well as managing finance and accounting functions.

Gayle Boudreau, Boston, Mass., has been appointed to the Board of Directors for New England Women in Real Estate (NEWiRE). She currently works for the Stewart Title Guaranty Company.

Denise (Velgouse) Corsaro, Duluth, Ga., is owner of the Primrose School of Suwannee West. Primrose Schools is a leader in educational child care, with more than 225 franchises nationwide.

1995
Bank of America has promoted Maria (Santiago) Maynard, Wilmington, Mass., to senior vice president. Maynard will support the Merrill Lynch transition for global wealth investment management and global divestitures.

Freedom OSS, a cloud computing consulting firm, recently promoted MJ DiBerardino, Newington, Conn., to director of services.

State Street Global Services has tapped Diane Richardson ’MBA, Hull, Mass., as vice president, project manager. She was most recently employed at National Financial as an international trading platform deployment consultant.

Scott Yavarow, Nashua, N.H., has co-founded Recreational Education Center, which serves children with autism. The center is located in Peabody, Mass.

NBC News has named Dave Pietrycha ’FIAMB, New York, N.Y., senior vice president and chief financial officer. Most recently, Pietrycha served as vice president and chief financial officer for MSNBC.

Leanne Stafford ’MST, Tewksbury, Mass., has been named a principal at the CPA and business consulting firm DiCicco, Gulman & Company.

Vienne Cheung ’MBA, Waltham, Mass., has launched VienneMilano, a luxury hosiery fashion brand.

2011

Collaborative Consulting has tapped Pavlik Mintz ’MBA, Lexington, Mass., as lead consultant/project manager.
