My (Giving) Back Story

Christina Berlinski ’95 * Field Sales Support Consultant, Arrow 53 * Somerset, N.J.

On lifelong friendships. . .
My Bentley education has assisted me greatly along my career path, and so have the friends I made during my time on campus. Networking is so important. Following graduation, a few of my friends from Bentley helped me land my second job. That job ended up serving as a stepping stone for my career today.

On moving away, but staying connected. . .

Last year, my family moved from Massachusetts to New Jersey. To stay connected to the school and expand my network in the area, I became involved with Bentley’s New York City Regional Committee. The committee plans events and volunteer opportunities for alumni in the NYC area. I have already attended a few events and plan to assist with event planning in 2012. It’s been rewarding for me. The group has helped me make business contacts and meet new friends.

On volunteering to help plan Reunion Weekend . . .

My husband [Craig Berlinski ’95] and I were planning on attending Reunion Weekend, so I thought it would be great to join the reunion committee and help plan the event. Coming back to Bentley for reunion is a wonderful way to reconnect with classmates – and ours did not disappoint. I enjoyed my role, and we had a lot of fun!

On making a generous reunion pledge. . .

Making a multi-year commitment in honor of our class reunion was very important to us. I believe it is our responsibility as alumni to do our part to ensure that Bentley is always progressing. By making a pledge to The Bentley Fund, Craig and I can help both today’s students and those in the future as well.
